Starting her career with the National Skills Academy, working on the frontline as a Social Care Graduate in 2013, Joy instantly developed a passion for the Social Care Industry. Joy has been an Operations Manager for a group of care homes and most recently an Operations and Quality Manager for an Independent Care Inspection company.
With a dedication to delivering high quality and personalised care for older people, Joy believes that every person deserves the best possible quality of life.

Operations Manager

With over 10 years of experience in home care, Laura has built her career through a variety of roles including Care Coordinator, Registered Manager, and now Operations Manager at Angelica Care. Having joined the company in March 2021, she has played a key role in supporting its growth while maintaining the highest standards of care.
 

Laura is passionate about supporting people to maintain their independence and remain safely in their own homes for as long as possible. With extensive experience in dementia care, she is a strong advocate for individuals who lack capacity, ensuring they receive compassionate, person-centred support.
 

Laura is equally dedicated to her team, believing that outstanding care starts with outstanding carers. She is committed to recruiting kind, compassionate people and supporting them to develop the skills and confidence needed to deliver the highest quality care.

Maddy Turner

Care Coordinator

Since joining Angelica Care in September 2025, Madeleine (Maddy) has become an integral part of the coordination team. Before joining Angelica Care, she worked at a GP practice where she progressed from Receptionist to Administration Supervisor, leading her team while overseeing quality assurance, auditing, clinical coding, staff meetings, and supervisions. This experience provided her with a strong foundation in organisation, leadership, and delivering high standards within a busy healthcare environment.
 

As Care Coordinator, Maddy is passionate about ensuring every customer receives reliable, person-centred support. She regularly spends time out in the community with customers and works closely with the care team to coordinate visits, optimise schedules, and ensure care is tailored to individual preferences.
 

Her approachable nature, attention to detail, and commitment to supporting both customers and colleagues help keep our service running smoothly. Maddy is dedicated to maintaining high standards of care and ensuring every customer receives the quality support that Angelica Care is proud to provide.

Karen Wellstead

Administrator

Karen joined Angelica Care in February 2022 and is at the heart of our office operations, helping to keep everything running smoothly. As Office Administrator, she provides essential support across the business, helping to ensure our customers, carers, and management team receive the assistance they need every day.
 

With a strong background in administration and customer service, Karen is highly organised, approachable, and always happy to help. Whether she's supporting the team with day-to-day operations, assisting with documentation, or being a friendly voice at the end of the phone, she takes pride in delivering an efficient and welcoming service.
 

Karen's attention to detail and commitment to supporting both our staff and customers make her a valued member of the Angelica Care team.

Beyond recruitment, our staff participate in continuous in-house training and work towards NVQ qualifications in Health and Social Care, ensuring they are equipped with the latest skills and a compassionate approach to domiciliary care.
